This position will assist in the overall marketing and promotion of all teams in addition to assisting with ticket sales and operations. Specific sport responsibilities will include: volleyball, women’s basketball and softball. This position will oversee the student internship program, mascot program and on-campus promotion/marketing for men’s basketball. The primary ticket office responsibilities include: day to day ticket sales, men’s basketball game day ticket office support and secondary box office supervision at Patriots Point events. If the selected candidate has social media marketing experience, the position may include oversight of certain departmental accounts.
A Bachelor’s degree is required and experience in a Division I athletic program is preferred. Previous experience in sports marketing or ticketing is a plus. The candidate must possess a self-starting and self-motivating work ethic and must be able to work independently with limited supervision. Applicants must have a commitment to and responsibility for adhering to all rules and regulations of the College of Charleston, the Colonial Athletic Association and the NCAA. The position requires evening and weekend work.
