Positions in this function are technical roles that develop and support marketing / product systems and information. Employees in information management roles develop and enhance technology tools that support Marketing / Product team operations and provide reporting capabilities to measure or track performance levels. May develop system enhancements to accommodate new products, alliances and acquisition products.
Oversee administration, design, and development of OptumRx Marketing Member Database in conjunction with vendor host
Lead the marketing data integration architecture function, in conjunction with the Director of Marketing Data & Architecture
Collaborate with other departments to prioritize database development needs
Understand various Marketing performance metrics (ROI, Conversion, Attribution, etc.) in order to effectively understand business requirements and detail business constraints. Incorporate and translate those requirements into documented data solutions
Work with the Marketing Campaigns & Reporting team to develop a marketing data roadmap and implementations that coordinate with their processes and needs
Coordinate with the Sr. Manager, Marketing Data Quality, to organize and warehouse data sources and create standards for data integrity, data population, and data accessibility
Successfully lead and / or engage in multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously
Overcome technical and organizational challenges to collecting & exposing actionable data
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, synthesize high-level information into details, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
Integrate data from various internal and external sources to provide information and insights to support the development of sound marketing strategies examples include digital data, clinical data, claims data, and business data
Willingness to take on complex and volatile data challenges in a fast-paced environment serving marketing professionals who have a strong appetite for data
Demonstrated ability to achieve clearly defined outcomes and timelines
Ability to initiate and manage change and to collaborate in a team environment
Strong communicator, who is adept at communicating in a straightforward way with business stakeholders AND technical resources (vendors and internal IT teams) about business needs and technical issues
