The Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications will help OpenStax reach its goal of dramatically increasing access to high quality learning resources by assisting in the development of all internal and external digital communications. The assistant director will be responsible for the majority of digital marketing and communications, primarily the flagship OpenStax website and key marketing campaigns. The assistant director will also be responsible for contributing to social media campaigns (grassroots and paid) and ensuring all OpenStax marketing and communications materials are consistent with the OpenStax brand and voice. The assistant director will also assist the director of marketing and communications in the developing marketing and communications strategies.
The assistant director will close the loop in our marketing and communications strategy by implementing and utilizing meaningful analytics to track and raise awareness to faculty needs.
