The Electronic Transactions Association is an international trade association representing more than 500 companies that offer electronic transaction processing products and services. ETA’s mission is to advance the payments industry by providing leadership through education, advocacy and the exchange of information.
The Marketing Coordinator is primarily responsible for the implementation of marketing activities for the Association’s programs, products, and services. This position requires a broad knowledge of modern marketing techniques (both print and digital); strong written and oral communication skills, familiarity with multiple social media platforms, and the ability to work both independently and in a group.
Works closely with the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships to execute on strategic plans to promote the Association’s programs, products, services, and overall brand.
Implements tactical marketing plans and campaigns to successfully promote the association’s programs, products, and services.
Works closely with ETA staff and consultants, including graphic and web designers to produce and distribute a variety of print and digital marketing materials, including but not limited to; print and electronic direct mail, flyers and brochures, infographics, videos, webcasts, and online articles.
Works with web manager and graphic designer to create and maintain compelling websites, with a focus on usability, design, and content. Regularly reviews and updates content on website.
Works with Social Media Coordinator to implement tactics that promote ETA events and engagement across social media channels.
Supports media partnerships and marketing-related trades/barters. Oversees fulfillment, manages logistics, and evaluates effectiveness of those relationships.
Supports marketing fulfillment related to corporate partnership agreements.
Assists on special projects/programs as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field.
Two years marketing experience required. Conference, trade show or association event marketing experience preferred.
Superior project management skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide clear communication of timelines and expectations to team members.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with attention to accuracy and detail
Data management, data segmentation, and web analytics skills.
Strong knowledge of print and digital marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices.
Experience using email marketing platforms (MagnetMail preferred), HTML, web content management system and association management database (netFORUM).
Experience using Microsoft Office. Proficiency with InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop preferred.
