The Marketing Manager is responsible for marketing and communications to membership and prospects as well as relations with the media. The Marketing Manager is responsible for producing weekly email newsletters, a monthly printed Journal, maintaining the Association’s website, managing the TIA Member Marketing Videos program, and managing the Association’s presence in print and social media. The position reports to the Director of Marketing and Communication.
Working with staff and supporting the MarComm Committee, produce a monthly Journal containing articles for members to use in their daily business.
Produce weekly email newsletter.
Manage all aspects of the TIA website.
Produce regular TIA TV segments.
Manage overall advertising efforts in TIA publications, including financial management.
Write, develop and manage media relations, including annual press releases, annual press release plan, and website-based “press room”.
Develops and manages all survey efforts.
Manage the TIA Member Marketing Videos Program.
Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
Organized self-starter capable of making independent decisions affecting the development and implementation of all aspects of TIA.
Accurate, detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting assigned deadlines.
Proven ability to write articles, white papers, website and social content.
Excellent telephone and in-person customer service skills.
Proven history of developing, managing, and writing successful publications.
Proven history of developing and managing successful annual marketing and advertising campaigns.
Working knowledge of iMIS, RiSE, Informz, and Salesforce, a plus
