Perform all assignments from the Assistant Athletic Director/Marketing with little or no supervision including but not limited to: plan and direct pre-game, in-game & post-game activities including music, band, cheer, entertainment and all sponsor obligations for Football and Men’s Basketball; design and execute athletic department consumer market research, analyze data, draw logical conclusions and make recommendations to the Athletic Director & staff; manage the athletic department student internship program including policies & procedures, job assignments, training, and mentor-ship; manage the ROC student leadership team to create an athletic environment that benefits the student experience, team performance and upholds the mission and values of Brigham Young University; plan and coordinate special events for the athletic department; act as the primary liaison between the Men’s Basketball and Softball team & coaches and secondary liaison between the Football team & coaches and the athletic marketing department.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing OR related field with 1-3 years of experience in Athletic Marketing.
Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; ten individual programs with individual needs (resource allocation)
Problem solver under pressure and in challenging circumstances.
An interest in developing the capabilities of other people; patience in teaching and training.
Demonstrated ability to motivate volunteers/student workers to feel part of a team and make a significant contribution.
Basic skills in layout and graphic design and complete competence with Microsoft Office Suite software.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

Must be organized
Able to create strong relationships (special events, ticket office, IT services, music department, corporate partners, etc.)
Must possess hospitality skills for current and potential corporate partners
Effectively deal will a wide variety of personalities in business, media and on campus
Experience in market research with students, season ticket holders, general public, corporate partners preferred
Knowledge of Athletic Marketing inventory (scoreboard signs, video board, banners, etc.) preferred
Understand the nature and mission of Brigham Young University and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints required.
Must know NCAA, West Coast Conference, MPSF rules and regulations involving promotion, publicity, and event management.
