The LA Phil is seeking an exceptional Direct Marketing Coordinator to implement communications to grow sales and reach and engage existing and new customers. The ideal candidate is an extremely well organized, proven team player that partners with internal leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver results. This person should be passionate about inspiring and engaging our target audiences, supporting attendance to our events at Walt Disney Concert Hall, Hollywood Bowl and beyond.
Assist Direct Marketing Manager with planning and execution of all direct mail and email communications with a strong focus on constant optimization to achieve revenue and engagement goals
Work closely with Analytics and Marketing to research, plan and manage internal/external list needs in relation to exchanges and rentals for direct mail and email.
Build segmented and targeted lists based on account preferences, purchase behaviors and available demographic information
Work with key Marketing constituents to identify opportunities for email list trades with Analytics as a resource
Coordinate development of direct marketing materials, including preparation of creative briefs and gathering of assets
Manage execution of direct mail projects for Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Hollywood Bowl. This includes supervision of mail house, delivery of materials and ensuring projects come in on budget.
Develop and maintain budget for direct mail and prepare documentation needed for quarterly forecasting.
Prepare and present a variety of options for complex mail projects while keeping within budget
Manage invoice tracking system and expenditure report for direct marketing team. Oversee invoice coding and record keeping.
Develop season communication timelines, collaborating with Sales to identify on sale dates
Work with the Digital team to develop unique campaign landing pages as needed
Maintain direct marketing schedule and direct marketing plan
Assist Direct Marketing Manager with carrying out mobile messaging plan
Review attribution and tracking reports and make recommendations for upcoming direct marketing projects
Additional duties, as assigned
A. or B.S. in business, marketing/sales, communications or related field
3+ years marketing experience preferred
Must have extensive computer skills including Microsoft Office suite. Experience with Tessitura and Salesforce is a plus.
Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with a focus on accuracy, attention to detail, thoughtful and thorough preparation of documents and communications
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with teams in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
Must have the ability to multi-task and work within deadlines
Must be positive, hardworking and strategic
