The Marketing Manager will lead a number of initiatives for the MBA Admissions Outreach team. S/he will be responsible for broadening our reach to prospective students, pushing out content to the applicant community, and leveraging the work of the School's core marketing team. The marketing manager will need to have digital marketing expertise and a deep understanding of content marketing and social media outlets. Job responsibilities:
Manage external marketing and communications strategy and work to identify the best way to implement and execute this digital strategy
Oversee social media presence for MBA Admissions. This includes management of the department's Twitter and Instagram accounts and working on paid ad campaigns on Facebook and LinkedIn.
Coordinate email marketing efforts to database of prospective students, including segmentation and e-mail automation using CRM data
Curate appropriate digital content to push out to prospective students and to targeted constituencies. This includes management of the MBA Voices blog. Responsibilities include: topic identification, blogger recruitment, content editing, and website publishing.
Manage department's video development and production needs, working closely with MBA Communications
Develop web content and marketing collateral as needed; work with Marketing & Communications on website development.
Oversee webinars- work to help line up key webinars and manage operations and technology for each webinar
Event based marketing
Domestic and International travel may be required as part of the Outreach team—conducting information sessions and representing HBS and MBA Admissions to prospective applicants.
Conduct on campus information sessions
Represent MBA Admissions at conferences and fairs
Other marketing activities
Participate in HBS Marketing & Communication Councils & Committees
Support LGBT Outreach activities
Work with Yield team on content and marketing needs
Support other Admissions programs and events as needed

BA/BS required with 4 years of experience in digital marketing.
Experience managing social media channels
Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as good judgment
Facility with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Adobe or Google Analytics)
Website and marketing collateral design skills
Experience with independent project execution.
