Embry-Riddle University is seeking applicants for the 2018-19 Sports Marketing Internship. The 20-sport athletic department has just completed its first year in NCAA Division II and the Sunshine State Conference.
Job Description: Sports marketing interns will support all marketing and promotional efforts for intercollegiate athletics. Duties include: - Developing the overall game day experience for home sporting events - Serve as a liaison to student clubs and organizations - Create digital and print media promotions - Recruit members to Ernie's Kids’ Club and The Flock - Engage the local community in ERAU Athletic events - Gain corporate partnerships - Manage select social media platforms on behalf of ERAU Athletics
Compensation: Hourly + University Meal Plan
Duration: Ten months, August to June

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, intercollegiate athletics experience preferred, with an interest in sports marketing and/or collegiate athletic administration as a career path.
Additional Qualifications: Ideal candidates must have a positive attitude and be self-motivated; display strong marketing skills with a willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends; excellent written and oral communication skills; thrive in working in a team environment. Graphic design and desktop publishing experience is highly desired; Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Photoshop preferred.
