University Marketing exists to advance the relevance, resonance and distinctiveness of Ohio State's brand by leveraging disciplined and modern marketing practices that measurably grow/deepen audience perceptions, understanding of, and preference for Ohio State. The Marketing Manager role is an integral part of The Ohio State University marketing department. This role supports the Marketing Strategy team and requires strong knowledge of marketing principles, strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities, attention to detail and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage tasks and timelines. This individual will partner with University Marketing staff and senior leadership to support the goals of University Marketing in the management of marketing strategy projects.
The Marketing Manager will exhibit the behaviors associated with the Office of Advancement's core competencies: Leadership, Continuous Improvement, Teamwork and Collaboration, and Communication/Interpersonal Effectiveness.
Bachelor’s degree; four years of experience in a marketing/communications position; professional experience working with integrated marketing programs; excellent detail, organizational skills and follow-through skills; proven ability to balance and prioritize multiple work streams and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met; and the ability to maintain professional composure in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in higher education; fundraising/development experience
Target Salary: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 Annually
