As a Marketing Administrative Coordinator within our Medicare and Retirement business, you're at the heart of our marketing operations and activities and the soul that keeps our team moving forward. You anticipate the needs of our managers and team members and help them stay focused on their projects by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise. You move quickly with the changing environment and are up to date with the latest marketing priorities. You also use that knowledge to strategically support our team's projects and efforts. In addition to being organized and analytical, you possess the strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and job functions. We're seeking someone who is bright, organized, energetic and dependable, driven by a common company goal: to help people live healthier lives and to help make the health system work better for everyone Primary Responsibilities:Perform an array of administrative tasks (Manage calendars, book travel, process invoices, and schedule facilities and equipment).Coordinate duties for multiple teams (member experience and digital acquisition).Build efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing team operations, and help define new operational strategies.Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting activities.Mentor new team members.Serve as a lead for and manager of small projects.
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree (or higher) OR a High School Diploma / GED with 3+ years of Marketing and / or Administrative experience1+ years of experience in a deadline driven environmentProficiency in Microsoft Word - Ability to create and edit documentsProficiency in Microsoft Excel - Ability create and edit basic spreadsheet and utilize basic formulasProficiency in Microsoft Outlook - Ability to manage multiple calendars, send / receive emails, and manage calendarsProficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint - Creating presentations and editing slidesPreferred Qualifications:Applied knowledge of process, project, and program management theory and practices and the ability to apply them when solving operational issues.Experience serving as a project lead from conception to completion.1+ years of experience in an administrative roleSoft Skills:Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies; Interest and experience in using technology and the Internet to improve work efficiency.Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions.Strong organizational skills.Careers at UnitedHealthcare Medicare & Retirement.
