The College of William and Mary (Division I) is seeking an outstanding individual to work within our Athletics Marketing division. Preferred qualifications are: Masters degree in sports management, marketing or related field; experience creating and executing athletics marketing plans; experience in graphic design; experience in working with athletics spirit groups (Cheer teams, mascots, pep bands, etc.)
This is a full-time, 12-month position with benefits. The work schedule for this position requires additional hours beyond the typical work week, to include evening and weekend work. This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position may be subject to overtime during high peak times, etc. as directed and approved by the supervisor. This is a restricted position subject to availability of funding. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience; experience working within intercollegiate or professional athletics marketing department; proficiency in the use of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office; excellent oral and written communication skills.
Additional Salary Information: Up to $32,000 commensurate with experience.
