The Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the Sales / Marketing team in the Western PA market and will establish new relationships and maintain existing ones as well as collaborate with Sales Agents and Agent Managers to understand their needs. This candidate will identify opportunity and develop a Marketing strategy, in a diverse multi-cultural Senior citizen population, which is supportive to the Sales Agent's networking (territory) of Western PA. As well, this candidate will be responsible for sharing our mission to help people live healthier lives, throughout the communities we service and create educational and sales events within our targeted population and execute, plan and coordinate resources (i.e., Vendors, Partners, Sales Agent, etc.) to ensure a successful event. This position is responsible for meeting or exceeding targeted growth, retention, and enrollment expectations within Western, PA.
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED (or higher)2+ years of Community Outreach field experience1+ years of experience with Medicare and / or MedicaidInsurance License or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of employmentExperience with Microsoft Office including Microsoft PowerPoint (creating and editing presentations), Microsoft Word (creating and editing documents), and Microsoft Excel (creating and editing spreadsheets)Access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to client and / or patient sites within a designated areaAbility to work night and weekends as requiredPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree (or Higher)Health/Life Insurance LicenseExperience working with Medicare / Medicare Outreach ProgramsCareers at UnitedHealthcare Community & State.
