Macs Adventure is on the search for a talented marketing coordinator to join our Boulder, Colorado team. You will work alongside the Head of North America and the Glasgow-based marketing team to create an engaging and unique user experience for our North American customers, across all digital platforms.We are looking for someone with a broad understanding of the digital and marketing landscapes, who loves creating great content, improving the user experience and optimizing websites.
Your profile You know exactly what makes people read, share and engage with stuff online. You know your way around a website, and you’ve created or managed different types of content through a CMS – if you know a bit of HTML that’s even better. With a systematic approach, a keen eye for detail and first-rate problem-solving skills, you’re an excellent resource for others. Your communication skills and team-first mentality mean you’ll thrive working in an international team across time zones. You’re eager to learn and look forward to supporting all areas of marketing, including email marketing, SEO and paid search. You have experience managing multiple social accounts in multiple markets without making mistakes. And you’re excited to do all of this while living the Macs Adventure values!
What you will be working on You will collaborate with the Glasgow-based marketing team and the Head of North America to provide exciting and engaging content across our North American marketing channels, including the website, blog and social accounts. You will be responsible for making sure there’s a continuous stream of engaging video and image content available. To ensure we are doing the right things with the right audiences, you’ll look after the reporting for all marketing channels for Macs North America, providing useful and relevant information on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. You’ll monitor agreed KPIs and make changes when required to reach your team and business goals. From time to time you will also be involved in sales tasks, projects or other responsibilities that deliver benefits and results for the North American business. This may be shorter or longer-term involvement, where you might take a lead or supporting role. You will manage your time and priorities to ensure the biggest impact on customers and business goals.
Your skills and experience
Experience creating and managing great digital content.
Superb writing skills that get the point across, especially in short, social formats.
An ability to make things happen and a high work capacity, even when some tasks are less exciting.
Great collaboration skills, working with both internal and external contributors.
Managing relationships with influencers, press contacts and content marketers.
Presentation skills and an ability to share your knowledge with others.
A creative mindset with lots of ideas for social campaigns that can be executed well and drive results.
Community management and customer service on social channels.
Fluency in Microsoft Office and Google’s document suite.
Familiarity with Google Analytics and SEO and interest in other areas of digital marketing, website development and analytics.
A marketing degree or similar background.
Industry experience from travel and muilti-national companies is a bonus.
