The Marketing Communications Specialist / Electronic Production and Fulfillment (eFulfillment) Analyst will be responsible for all electronic and interactive communications delivery efforts assigned by their management within the IS business segment. The position requires a strong background in electronic / digital materials delivery management as well as knowledge of traditional print production, including imaging, printing, digital print on demand (POD) and lettershop services. Primary Responsibilities: Manage the digital conversion, archival and documentation of high volume member materials files and / or e-mail communications, working with cross-functional areas to ensure all aspects of program requirements are metProject management experience managing multiple electronic communications efforts with competing priorities Manage and execute email marketing campaigns within ESP (Email Service Provider) self-service functionalityAbility to modify / adjust html settings within provided files ensuring proper functionality within the ESP toolDefine requirements to drive the eFulfillment process ensuring accuracy and quality throughoutCollaborate with team members & cross-functional areas to develop creative solutions to electronic fulfillment issuesMonitor and evaluate vendor performance through production quality reviews, vendor site visits and quarterly performance reviewsAudit and resolve vendor data file transmission and verificationAbility to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal team, internal departments and outside vendorsAbility to work within a team environment, yet have accountability for own body of workTrack expenditures and facilitate all related vendor purchase order and billing reconciliationAbility to implement Marketing and Regulatory changes throughout the process ensuring timeliness and accuracyMaintain eFulfillment operating P&Ps updating as necessaryKnowledge of quality assurance/process improvement
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree (or higher) or High School Diploma / GED with 4+ years professional Electronic / Digital Media experience2+ years Electronic / Digital Media experience (i.e. manage email campaigns; landing pages; website development, electronic fulfillment)1+ years print production experience (print-on-demand, traditional print and fulfillment experience)2+ years' experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint1+ years' experience managing vendor relationships 1+ years' experience with Project management: working with cross-functional teams, delivering results, meeting deadlinesAbility to travel several times a year to vendor locationsPreferred Qualifications: Experience with digital file formats and industry best practices for file rendering (html, AFP, PDF, etc.).Experience with Business Analysis: identifying business needs and requirements and determining solutionsExperience with HTMLExperience with best practices for email creative and templates, dynamic content and testing Experience with Document Management (archiving a variety of file formats, search and retrieval, manifest creation, appending metadata)Familiarity with Secure Data Environments and Portal AuthenticationsFamiliarity with Third Party E-mail Service Provider PlatformsFamiliarity with Medicare health insurance productsQuality assurance / process improvement experienceMS Project experiencePostal knowledgeCareers at UnitedHealthcare Medicare & Retirement.
